Areas we see patients from

Custom orthotics need at least two visits to the clinic, a scan and a fitting, so it helps to know the drive. Pro Motion Healthcare is at 65 Cedar Pointe Dr, Unit 808A, just off Highway 400 at Dunlop St W. Times below are approximate, in light traffic, measured on OpenStreetMap routes in October 2026.

Downtown Barrie seen across Kempenfelt Bay on a summer day

Barrie

Edgehill and Letitia Heights (1 to 3 min), Downtown Barrie (5 min), Allandale, Ardagh and Sunnidale (6 min), Cundles (7 min), Mapleview and the south end (8 min), Bayfield and the north end (9 min), East End and Grove East, Little Lake and Innis-Shore (10 min), Holly (11 min), Painswick (13 min), the far south end at Yonge St and Mapleview Dr E (14 min) and Hewitt’s Creek (16 min). Street-by-street detail is on orthotics near me.

The west end around the clinic, from Edgehill and Letitia Heights out to Sunnidale and Ardagh, is the closest. Downtown and Allandale are a short run along Dunlop St W. From the north end, the south end and the east side of the city, Highway 400 is usually the quickest way across.

Innisfil

Stroud (15 min), Cookstown (20 min), Alcona (22 min) and Lefroy. From Stroud and Alcona, Yonge St or Highway 400 north brings you into Barrie; from Cookstown, Highway 400 runs most of the way to the Dunlop St W exit.

Springwater

Midhurst (13 min), Minesing (17 min) and Elmvale (30 min). Midhurst is just north of the city along Highway 26 and Bayfield St, so the trip in is short.

Essa

Thornton (14 min), Angus (18 min) and Utopia. Angus and CFB Borden are a straight drive in along County Road 90.

Oro-Medonte

Shanty Bay (17 min) and Oro Station (20 min), along the north shore of Kempenfelt Bay and Highway 11.

Farther afield

Orillia and Bradford (about 34 min), Alliston (about 36 min) and Wasaga Beach (about 42 min). If you are coming from farther away, call ahead and bring your insurance information, plus your prescription if your plan requires one, to the first visit.

Planning the visits

The first appointment is the assessment, the 3D scan and the walk on the pressure mat. The second is the fitting, when your orthotics are tried in your shoes and adjusted if needed. About two weeks after that, the clinic checks in to see how the break-in is going, often by phone. If you are driving in from a town, it helps to book both visits at times that avoid the rush on Highway 400.

Wherever you are coming from, the steps are the same: see custom orthotics Barrie for the process and orthotics Barrie for the models.
